Construction Birthday Party

Okay so here is the deal… little munchkin is turning ONE in a week!!! A week! I can not believe it! It seems like just yesterday, he was this cute big newborn. And now, he is walking everywhere! & getting into everything, ahem, the dishwasher detergent!
So here is why I am feeling the pressure…
Not only do I have to think of something completely INCREDIBLE for little munchkin’s birthday cake, so that years down the road, there is no arguing that mommy loved little man more than little munchkin because his birthday cakes were WAY cooler, BUT to top that off…
I also have to come up with a super creative, smash cake - so that little munchkin can have just as much fun as little man did…
SO wait for it…little munchkin’s 1st birthday party is just around the corner! Let’s hope his 1st cake lives up to his brothers!
Until then, head on over to Birthday Cake Roundup to see other ideas for cakes!
Also, if you are feeling crazy enough to make this cake for your little man - head on over to here I posted pictures & how I did it! (phew!)

Oh man, this makes me so happy that we didn’t do a party for Julia, so I am off the hook with all future babes!

You are having the same problem as me! when is you little guys b-day? mine turns one on the 9th… but my older son is a summer b-day so we had a huge poop party ducky theme super fun super easy…now for winter b-days grr how hard is this??? We are doing a carnival theme in a church gym…i bought a moon bounce from KB’s liquidation sale as his b-day gift/party acitvity/save mama’s sanity the rest of the winter:) we are doing hot dogs, and renting a cotton candy machine (they’re really cheap!) and then have a bean bag toss type game ect for older kids… I don’t make my own cakes, we have an amazing lady with a tiny bakery and an amazing imagination here! what is your theme for little munchkin?

Hey Judith! I love the cake. I have been scouring the internet trying to get ideas for Aiden’s 1st birthday theme. I found a website that may be helpful to you. kids-birthday-guide.com You may have already seen it, but they have some really neat cake ideas. I hope I haven’t missed munchkins b-day.
